Sterno merged with Candlelamp and became SternoCandlelamp. Then in 2015, the company name was changed again to Sterno Products® The name change is part of a re-branding initiative to leverage the powerful heritage, strength and awareness of the Sterno brand as the company continues to expand its business and product lines into additional categories and channels.
Don Hinshaw, President and CEO of Sterno Products, states, “For more than a century, the iconic Sterno name has been synonymous with providing customers a core line of high quality products”.
In concert with this announcement, the company launched a new state-of-the-industry website, SternoProducts.com, for both the hospitality/foodservice and retail/consumer channels. “Our new name provides us a strong corporate identity that accurately represents the company’s leadership position, not only in portable food warming fuels, but beyond into broader solutions for Ambience, Catering, Home Entertaining, and Camping”, said Craig Carnes, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
Customers can see the new name on all digital assets maintained by Sterno Products, including all former Candlelamp and Sterno products.
