Benjamin Woods

President

Ben possesses a wealth of international business experience in all areas of operational excellence, inspiring employees across the globe having supported start up and growth strategy for international business in 12 different countries. He is capable of diverse levels of responsibility in Operations, Logistics, Merchandising and Supply Chain Management due to his tenured business experience across the Caribbean, Latin America, and Asia paired with his relentless commitment to continuous improvement.

Ron Hepburn, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Vice President, Finance

Ron Hepburn is a Retail and Finance professional with significant experience in strategy development, budgeting, revenue management, team development, financial reporting and analysis.Β 

Prior to his role at Sysco Bahamas, Ron has held multiple leadership roles within the Finance, Sales and Supply Chain functions where he was responsible for financial review and reporting, internal audit, customer service, logistics and warehouse management.Β 

Over the course of Ron’s career, he has worked in the assurance practice for PwC, catering to clients in Oil and Gas, Banking and SME sectors.Β 

He is a licensed Public Accountant in the State of New Hampshire and in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Tiffani Evans

Vice President, Marketing & Merchandising

Tiffani Evans has the responsibility of overseeing merchandising functions including category management and analytics, product innovation, strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, international procurement as well as field merchandising.

Tiffani has over 20 years of foodservice industry experience and served as the President of Prime Bahamas Ltd. for 10 years, which was later purchased by Bahamas Food Services. Tiffani has broad experience in purchasing, sales, product development, marketing, operations and general management.

She is a member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) and serves on the Global Corporate Social Responsibility committee.

Hunter W. Griffith

Vice President, Operations

Hunter has been serving as the Vice President of Operations at Sysco Bahamas since April 2022, drawing on over 14 years of operational experience cultivated at US Foods. He progressed through various roles within the organization, ascending from Night Warehouse Selector to Director of Operations. A distinguished graduate with Honors, holding a Bachelor of Science in Management from Montreat College, Hunter exemplifies a unique combination of academic achievement and practical expertise.

Hunter’s leadership is marked by a people-driven and customer-centric approach, emphasizing collaboration across functions. His oversight spans diverse operations, including Warehouse, Transportation, Inventory Control, Fleet & Facility Maintenance, Brokerage, Safety, Produce QA, and FSQA. Certified in Six Sigma Green Belt, HACCP, and FSPCA Preventative Controls for Human Food, he seamlessly integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on application.

Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management at The University of Tennessee Knoxville, recognized as the top graduate program for Supply Chain in the US, Hunter remains devoted to staying abreast of industry advancements. In his role as Vice President at Sysco Bahamas, he underscores his commitment to organizational success through a combination of excellence and collaboration, providing innovative solutions for customers across the country.

Floriana Verilo

Vice President, Sales

Floriana is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of dedicated service to the company, demonstrating a remarkable trajectory of advancement from Sales Consultant to Director of Local Sales. In her recent role as Director of Activation, she spearheaded sales growth strategies, effectively accelerating market share expansion across various regions of USBL. Fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and French, Floriana’s linguistic prowess has greatly facilitated her international engagements.

Notably, Floriana’s outstanding contributions were recognized with the prestigious “Pinnacle Award” from Sysco in 2022, underscoring her exceptional performance and commitment to excellence. Beyond her professional achievements, Floriana is deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace. As a co-founder and co-chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council for the North Florida Region, she has played a pivotal role in promoting a more inclusive and equitable corporate culture.

Nikia Forbes

Director, Human Resources

Nikia Forbes was appointed as the HR Director of Sysco Bahamas in July 2020 working strategically with leadership to successfully execute local, regional and corporate initiatives. She has over 20 years of experience in Business and has worked in the banking, hospitality and telecommunications industries.Β 

Nikia holds an Associate degree in Banking from the University of the Bahamas; a bachelor’s degree in Business and Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University; and a master’s degree in Organizational Learning and Leadership from Barry University.

She is a member the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), Toast Masters International and a committee member of The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce Employer’s Federation and the Global Corporate Social Responsibility committee. Nikia is also a member of in the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and The Bahamas Society of Human Resource Management (BSHRM) and served on the board. Β She is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a Professional in Human Resources International (PHRi).
