📺🍽 Winner, Winner, Steak Dinner!
This session of DINING IN on ILTV was all about treating the dads, featuring Sysco Bahamas’ own Chef Jamal Small. Watch this video to see a nicely cooked “Big Daddy” Porterhouse Steak served with Peppercorn Sauce, Golden Onion Rings, Creamed Spinach and Peas ‘n’ Rice Risotto.
Garlic, rosemary and thyme is simmered in butter and spooned over the 1-lb Steak, then sizzled in a hot cast iron pan for four minutes to ensure a tender interior and nice crust.
Chef Jamal draws on his vast experience to showcase a beautiful rendition of the classic Peas ‘n’ Rice, made with Arborio Rice instead of traditional long-grain or parboiled rice. Stir it one direction only!
