Our People Tell the Story
At Sysco Bahamas, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is more than a concept, it’s an actual way of life. We benefit from the ability to share unique perspectives and new ideas in an environment that represents every person at the table

I come from humble beginnings and sometimes working in a corporate organization people expect you to pretend to be someone else, but here at Sysco Bahamas, I can be exactly who I am, unapologetically and that is both welcomed and appreciated here.

I’m one of the youngest people in the Sysco Bahamas family, but I’ve never been made to feel that way. I am able to express my concerns, present new ideas and contribute to our success on a daily basis, and I feel safe to do it.

Sysco’s DEI Strategy Defined
Across Sysco’s enterprise, we are building a culture rooted in:

Diversity
Who is represented in the world, accounting for all of our similarities and differences (including, but not limited to, physical appearance, behaviors, voice and tone, abilities, sexual orientation, age, race, gender, religion and natural origin).

Equity
What we can do to provide resources and opportunities while removing systemic barriers and biases so that outcomes are based only on one’s talents, gifts and work.

Inclusion
How we can create a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, and ideas and perspectives are brought to a table where everyone has a seat.
