Every day of the year, someone celebrates something. Your restaurant can showcase its community involvement on International Women’s Day, Girl Scouts Day or World Storytelling Day or do something fun with Barbie’s Birthday, Proposal Day, National Ravioli Day and International Day of Awesome.

St. Patrick’s Day is fun and well-known, and is a great time to run specials and features to an appreciative audience. St. Patrick’s Day is an annual celebration of everything Irish – and everything green. This day is an official Christian Feast Day for many churches and is a public holiday in Ireland, North Ireland, Montserrat and in the Canadian provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador. People around the world celebrate this festive “Green” day with shamrocks, green beer, Irish whiskey and of course, Irish food such as:

Wednesday 18 February through 2 April 2015 – Lent, or the Lenten Season is a religious practice observed during the 40 days preceding Easter Sunday. Many people will reduce or stop their meat intake during this time, especially red meat. Expect higher consumption of all seafood, white meats and vegetarian options.
