Junkanoo Hot Dog!

The Bahamas Junkanoo festival is officially underway for July 2022 in Nassau, Bahamas. Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Junkanoo Festival is an annual celebration of all things Bahamian, held every July at Arawak Cay. Bahamian vendors showcase their crafts and authentic dishes, while live entertainment lights up the stage from the day into the night. Expect a fun time for families, both local and tourists.

Sysco Bahamas’ Chef Jamal Small is the featured chef for the kick-off event on Saturday, 2nd July. Starting at 5PM, Chef Jamal will be conducting a food demo featuring a very festive Shrimp Corn Dog with a Banana Sauce. Stay tuned for videos and pictures and on our Instagram page.
