Badia Olive Oil received the Gold Medal in the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) in April 2015. Billed as “The World’s Most Important Olive Oil Competition”, there were more than 700 participants from over 24 countries.
Jenifer Bound was a student at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism when she won a competition sponsored by Badia and hosted at her school. The idea was to “promote innovation and entrepreneurship concepts to students”, and Jenifer won gold with her “Holy Smokes Pork & Meat Rub” blended spice mixture in the fall of 2013.
